Logistics
- Coordinate and execute shipments to multiple distribution partners across the USA, processing all required documentation (BOLs, packing slips, customs forms, etc.).
- Schedule daily freight pickups (LTL and FTL) with various national carriers, ensuring compliance with delivery windows and customer requirements.
- Assist in analyzing and managing freight spend, identifying opportunities for cost reduction through load consolidation and carrier negotiations.
- Manage the process for returns and damaged goods, ensuring proper inventory disposition.
Inventory Management/Controls
- WMS Management: Serve as the primary user and subject matter expert for the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring all receiving, transfers, picking, and shipping transactions are accurate and timely.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain inventory integrity across all storage locations (internal and 3PL warehouses) by managing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and leading periodic physical inventory audits.
- Data Integrity: Generate inventory reports and analyze stock levels, slow-moving items, and stock-out risks, communicating findings to the sales and operations teams.
- Process Compliance: Ensure all warehouse staff and 3PL partners follow standardized inventory control procedures.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain coordination, preferably within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Food & Beverage sector.
- Expert proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is required.
- Proven experience executing national freight/shipping logistics (booking FTL/LTL, generating Bills of Lading).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience managing inventory and managing Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers preferred
